Whilst Ghyll Cottage is distinctly period in character, the facilities
are uncompromisingly 21st century. With M&S duck feather and down
duvets, duck feather & down pillows, The White Company towels,
locally-sourced oak and pine furniture, this centrally-heated holiday
cottage and annexe have been renovated in a style and to a standard to
complement their character, whilst offering the kind of comfort you'd
expect at home.
On the ground floor of Ghyll Cottage you'll find an entrance hall, a
well-appointed kitchen (electric cooker, gas hob, 'fridge freezer,
washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, food processor,
dinnerware for 8+), a dining room seating 8 plus hi fi, and a sitting
room seating 8 with wood burning stove, TV, Freesat & Blu-ray player.
Upstairs comprises three bedrooms, each sleeping 2 adults, plus a family
bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a kingsize bed & en suite shower room (through
the wardrobe. We're channelling Narnia). Bedroom 2 features 2 adult twin
beds and partial fell views, bedroom 3 has 2 adult bunks. Each bedroom
includes freestanding or fitted wardrobes, drawers and bedside tables.
The annexe, Little Ghyll, has a kingsize bed, wardrobe and cupboard
storage and a generous en suite shower room.
Bed linen, towels and your first basket of logs are included in the price
of your stay.
Parking is at a premium in Kettlewell, especially in peak season. Ghyll
Cottage includes two off street parking spaces right alongside the
cottage and the annexe, plus a lockable garage suitable for your bikes,
outdoor gear or, indeed, car.
